Pastors

Mic Thurber
Senior Pastor
pastormic@keenechurch.com
Now in my 5th year as senior pastor of this wonderful church family, this is my second opportunity to be in Keene.
Our family has loved each community in which we’ve lived and worked, and it didn’t take us any time at all to love the people of this great church here in Keene. It’s my dearest hope that you will see Jesus in my ministry, and it’s my joy to see Him in each of you here.

Heather Crews
Pastor for Church Life
pastorheather@keenechurch.com
Heather Crews serves as Pastor for Church Life at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership and Spiritual Formation through George Fox Evangelical Seminary in Portland, Oregon.
When asked about ministry, Heather says, "My burning passion is to make Christianity relevant inside the current culture. As I study and learn I continually ask myself, 'What difference does it make?' I believe that life isn't divided into secular and spiritual, but that the spiritual is involved in everything we do. This is the vision that drives my life."

Phil Robertson
Pastor for Administration
pastorphil@keenechurch.com
Pastor Phil Robertson was born in eastern North Carolina. His early childhood years were experienced on a farm followed by several moves to different churches and schools after his parents began employment with the church. His family was very active in the church and Phil remembers being at the church virtually every time the doors were unlocked.
Phil has served as an academy treasurer, vice-principal and religion teacher, an auditor for the General Conference, a conference treasurer, a hospital chaplain, a ministry administrator and a local church pastor. While each of these areas of service has yielded evidence of ministry blessing, it is the privilege of serving the local church as a community of faith, that has been the most rewarding.
